Welcome to The Workforce Development Trust Group

A group of sector specialists with over 50 years’ experience supporting workforce development, incorporating Skills for Health, Skills for Justice, SFJ Awards and People 1st International.

Improving lives through better skills and better jobs, delivering better services

We are the parent company to a collective of like-minded organisations operating collaboratively to develop the skills of individuals and teams across a broad range of sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

We do this as a group through our brands, who work in different sectors to support workforce development, skills, and learning strategies for governments, employers, training providers, public sector bodies, and private companies.

Get to know our brands

As a group of sector-specific bodies, we operate as one in the delivery of our corporate values and strategies, and are the only not-for-profit organisation of our kind operating across a range of vital sectors to support workforce development both in the UK and overseas. Our four brands hold the same core values and charitable aims throughout all our work, and how we function as a wider group.
