This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience of event organisation, working within a strong and friendly events team. As the Events Assistant, you will support the Events and Marketing Executive and Product Marketing Management Team on the planning, delivery and co-ordination of a range of internal and external events across the group, working collaboratively with other marketing team members and under the direction of the Product Marketing Manager for Consultancy & Research. You will have the opportunity to help shape these events to ensure excellent customer experience and engagement, whilst expanding your knowledge of the events industry.
Your organisation skills and passion for working within corporate events will drive forward the professionalism of our events programme and support the delivery of exceptional experiences for our customers, in turn supporting Business Development and Marketing. You will be responsible for ensuring that events are delivered to a high standard, supporting the Events and Marketing Executive in organising the logistics, on-the-day delivery and added value benefits for delegates attending our events. This will include planning, operational support, data management, communications & organising event experiences. Your communication skills will also be applied to support the promotion of events to maximise event attendance, and carry internal communications, ensuring that staff are informed of the on-the-day activity associated with face-to-face events. You may also support the Events and Marketing Executive in running virtual events and webinars, communicating, and organising speakers and liaising with the Executive Assistant to the Board/Executive Team to arrange event briefings.
The role requires a driven and well organised approach, and there will be a range of great opportunities to learn from the current Marketing, Communications & Events team, and play a vital role in the delivery of well attended conferences and awards ceremonies, including a nationally recognised Healthcare Awards event. You will often have several ongoing projects and prioritisation is key to support the Events team, ensuring all event deadlines are met and events are being delivered on time, and within budget. UK travel is required to support the delivery of events, including occasional overnight travel. We will be looking to host or attend approximately 1 face to face event per month, and several virtual events will require your support.

• Digitally confident – with some experience using online booking systems and systems such as Zoom, MS Teams, GoTo Webinar etc. desirable
We will be delivering a full staff induction for Kickstart employees including Health and Safety Awareness, Fire Safety Procedures, Manual Handling and short elearning courses on company policies and procedures. HR will coordinate the induction which includes introductions to all office-based staff and to the team who will be looking after the placement person.
Part-time role 25 hours per week
